  Scottish Family Roots

Scottish Family Roots genealogy research service is located within the small picturesque village of Braco, Perthshire, Scotland, and it's also where I live with my wife and three children. Situated among the scenic Ochil Hills, Braco is little more than an hours traveling time by road or rail from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

  Scottish family history research

I have been researching my own family history for almost ten years, and after retiring from the Metropolitan Police Force I carried out genealogy work for friends, which was followed by commissioned Scottish family tree searches for others. Since then I have successfully produced many detailed Scottish ancestral reports.

  Genealogy research

Genealogy research is an intriguing and absorbing journey into the past, which I find fascinating, and no doubt you will too. It brings your ancestors back to life and will help you to understand how they lived, their environment and their working conditions.

  Scottish Family Roots

To satisfy my passion for family history research, while at the same time helping others find answers to their Scottish family history questions, during 2007 I set up “Scottish Family Roots”.

Do you want to trace your Scottish ancestors? I can look into their history and supply you with a comprehensive family tree report.

I was really pleased with the result, the efficiency and the speed. It is great to know where I come from, and what makes me who I am. Margaret Adams...Perthshire, Scotland. J.
